Debra Mejia is originally from the Panama Canal Zone, but has been a California girl for some time now. She majored in Illustration at university and worked as an in-house Illustrator/Designer for a giftware and stationery company for many years. "It was a dream come true to see my designs in stores like Macy's, Barnes & Noble, Hallmark and DSW to name a few. I love to create beautiful things. There has never been a time when I haven't been doodling fashionable young ladies on any piece of paper I could find." Debra's favorite medium is watercolor. She is drawn to the luminosity and transparency of this art form.
